8/14/09

How do you like Daves new Do? Barbara and Dave brought him this new hat. Thanks guys!!!Today was a great day. Dave is half way done with his chemo. This was day # 6 out of 12. YEAH!!! No radiation today but a cat scan . Joe brought Delores down to visit last night. Sandy and Steve left for home today. Thanks guys for coming. Sandy and Steve went into the city via the train yesterday and brought us all home gifts. Ellie took Dave for his treatment this morning. Thanks to all of the family for all this help. I just don't know how you would ever get through this without the help of family and friends. Dave goes for his shot tomorrow and Joe has offered to take him to Setauket . Keep those prayers coming. Remember with God anything is possible. Talk to you tomorrow, Dave and Julie. Dave said to send out his Email address: DP713@verizon.net.

    Hey Uncle Dave,
    We made it home got in around 4am....We drank so much coffee we were wired...When we got out of the car it felt like our legs were going to take off running without us….It was so great hanging with you, Aunt Julie, Uncle Al and Giggles (EL)...Steven and I enjoyed our self so much we didn't want to leave...I know we shouldn't have favorites when it comes to family but when you have a Uncle and Aunt like you all it hard not too….You and aunt Julie are the best….Thank you for everything….We had a wonderful time and are so proud of you for keeping a positive attitude, because miracles do happen every day and we know you are going to be our family miracle we love yea honey and think you are the best!!!!!

    P.S. Steven said our family is to cool, he had a blast getting to know you all again and he can’t wait to visit with you all again….Remember let’s not encourage him to move to the city after college …… LOL ….No, it would be ok with Dave and I as long as he’s around yea all…..But only for a year….LOL
    I will call you sometime Monday night to see how CT Scan turned out….
